O.C.T. Compound for cryostat
OCT is a cryogenic embedding medium, developed for cutting tissue samples on the cryostat at temperatures between -20°C and -30°C.
OCT provides the necessary stabilization and protection of tissue.
It is water-soluble and can be easily removed from the microscope slide before staining.
The resulting sections are ideal for rapid laboratory testing.
