Our Oolong tea extract (OTE) boasts a high tannin content, ensuring exceptional purity and efficiency in contrast enhancement.<\/p>\n

Application :<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Preparation and Use of OTE Solution:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Dissolve OTE powder in 70\u00b0C water at a concentration of 0.2% using a magnetic stirrer.<\/li>\n
  2. Complete dissolution typically occurs within 15 to 30 minutes under agitation.<\/li>\n
  3. Filter the OTE extract solution at 0.45\u00b5 or preferably at 0.22\u00b5.<\/li>\n
  4. Store the solution in a small Eppendorf tube or an Airless Black bottle, minimizing oxygen exposure, and refrigerate.<\/li>\n
  5. Keep the solution in darkness at 4\u00b0C, allowing it to return to room temperature before use.<\/li>\n
  6. Contrast grids with OTE for 15 to 20 minutes at room temperature, in darkness.<\/li>\n
  7. Drain excess solution without rinsing or with very short washing for 1 to 2 seconds after drying.<\/li>\n
  8. Post-stain with lead citrate according to Reynolds for 1 to 2 minutes.<\/li>\n
  9. Drain, rinse briefly, dry, and prepare for observation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Tips :<\/strong><\/h4>\n

    The prepared OTE solution is slightly acidic, with a pH of 6. To adjust the pH, water can be replaced with a phosphate or cacodylate Na buffer.<\/a><\/p>\n
