The ampoules are not reusable after the glass neck has been broken. Sometimes, breaking the ampoule is difficult. There is also a risk of injury if broken glass comes into contact with the contents inside the ampoule.

On the contrary, a vial can be reused for storage purposes. The vial can be cleaned and reused several times and presents less risks of injury than an ampoule
You can recap the vial (silicone cap + plastic protection) and put the rest of the product under vacuum by sucking the air with a syringe. It will keep longer.
